I wanted a large (2.2 cubic foot) microwave for under $500, and this Panasonic model was the only one that fit the bill. Unfortunately, it seems that you get what you pay for. The materials feel cheap and flimsy. The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity stop working when the microwave is in use, which has caused a lot of problems. All the plastic feels light, thin, and fragile. The door sounds like old bed springs when you close it. The window on the door is made of plastic and arrived dented. With normal use, one of the buttons on the control panel has already broken. I haven’t noticed any significant improvement in performance compared to my previous microwave from 2008 (seriously).
Pros:
- Large capacity
- Affordable price
Cons:
- Cheap materials
- WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity issues
- Flimsy construction
- Noisy door
- Dented window
- Damaged button
Overall:
I would not recommend this microwave to anyone. There are better options available in the same price range.
